This is a solid wood (heavy) bureau, originally very dark stained wood - oak I think. We have been using it as a computer desk and have cut out some of the back boarding for wires etc. You can see I painted it to fit with our room. In generally good condition, a couple of small screww holes on the top have been filled and as mentioned, the back boarding has been partly cut away. Lockable with key. I have forgotten the name of the make, but it was one of the famous ones. Size; 43" high, 38" wide, depth at bottom is 18.5" and 11" deep at the top. Bureau Writing Desk / Computer Desk / Storage Desk in

A refurbished / up-cycled writing bureau / computer desk. Painted with a Zinsser undercoat & two coats of white chalk paint, giving it a textured look. Sealed with two layers of Briwax which protects and gives it a nice sheen. The outside has been painted with chalk paint but the insides have been left as they were, giving a nice contrast. there is the odd imperfection but its got character and would look attractive in any home. There is a small black stain on the inside but its not too noticeable (see photo). H cm) L m) W cm) There is a lock but no key. You can view if you live near by.
