RARE RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH COMMEMORATIVE SOLID SILVER ENGRAVED MEDALLION
RARE RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH COMMEMORATIVE SOLID SILVER ENGRAVED MEDALLION This medallion is very rare, I have never seen another one. It was given to my father, who worked on the film 'Oh, What a Lovely War' when Richard Attenborough was the Director, as a thank you for my father's work, at the end of filming. The inscription reads “With Ever Grateful Thanks, Dickie A” On the reverse is an engraved First World War-type trumpet to commemorate the War, together with the inscription of the film, and dated Brighton (where and when the film was made). The Hallmark as far as I can see is “N.B.” then possibly “& Co” with a Lion and two further hallmarks. The hallmarks are very small, so I cannot make them out. The weight is approx 0.65 oz on a jewellery scale but obviously has memorabilia value. The medallion has always been attached to the key fob. There is minimal scratching, even though item never used, please see photos before bidding. I am not a dealer, but I think someone who collects Attenborough memorabilia would be very interested in this very rare object. THIS KEY RING HAS NEVER BEEN USED, IT HAS BEEN IN A DRAWER SINCE BEING PRESENTED. I would require cash if collecting, close to Kingston on Thames. If Posting to UK payment by Paypal please. Postage £8 Recorded. Thank you. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
