Solid wood dining table and six chairs, Attractive, good quality dining table with six matching chairs, two of them being carvers. I can't remember for certain what wood it is but from memory it's either cherry or alder I think. It's certainly hard and not easy to scratch like, say, pine. It's probably twenty years old but has been well looked after despite having served a growing family (and grandchildren!). Not perfect, but very good indeed. There is a noticeable scratch on it but it's not as noticeable as the photo makes out. Seats eight quite comfortably (although only six chairs) and we've had ten around it at times which is a bit of a squeeze but do-able! There is a clever mechanism for extending the table which you can see in the pics.No staining to the chair seats, all in all being in very good condition.The legs have been removed for ease of transport but go back on very easily.You're welcome to come and look - I'm about a mile off Junction 12 of the M1 in Bedfordshire. £, Dunstable, .
