In need of restoring so would be ideal for anyone with the love for bringing back old furniture to its former glory or for an up-cycle project. Sadly the top is missing but could be easily replaced with a piece of oak. The item is solid and sturdy and comprises of 21 pigeon holes although the bottom 3 could have been used for drawers as there is no base to them. 2 larger drawer spaces at the bottom, although one drawer is missing. Beautiful antique wooden clerk's writing desk / slope (probably early s). It came out of an old metal works factory that was shut down - a historic industrial piece. It includes pigeon holes (possibly for time cards), a flip up lid and drawer with decorated knob. There is one old crack on the lid (mended years ago) and the interior of the cabinet shows signs of use - otherwise in very good condition.
