Similarly I can choose oak with your preferred 'features' i.e. cracks, grain, knots. Planed, Sanded and finished with Danish Oil/Wax/Stain. Large very handsome s oak mantel clock which has its pendulum and key. This old clock works, after a fashion, or it did when we last tried it. It will need servicing or cleaning. The chime doesn't work. Bought for our daughter. My husband fancied himself as an amateur horologist then never got round to looking at it! The clock measures approx 16" wide x 8½" tall x 5" deep (41 x 21 x 13cm). It is a good looking clock that just needs a bit of TLC to restore to its original glory.
