Only this style of baffle will work to combine centre-zip sleeping bags and to achieve the increased season use this combination will provide. The Snugpak Special Forces Centre Zip Baffle can be used with any Snugpak Special Forces sleeping bags and may fit other centre-zip sleeping bags. However, it is only to be used with centre-zip bags and will not work with left-side zip or right-side zip sleeping bags.

It is the update to the Softie 3, now with a quick release centre zip and reinforced foot. The Special Forces 1 can be used on its own can join up with the Special Forces 2 to create the Special Forces Combo System using the separately available Centre Zip Baffle. Snugpak recommend that you wash any of their products on a LOW temperature setting with non-bio liquid detergent and no fabric conditioner. Drying Snugpak products on a washing line is recommended. They can be tumble dried but only on a LOW setting otherwise the fabric may melt.
