This sophisticated and innovative system regulates the temperature inside the sleeping bag by enabling you to expand the volume when the bag gets warmer than you want, increasing the amount of air and therefore reducing the temperature, and if the sleeping bag gets colder on the inside then the expansion panel can be zipped up, reducing the internal volume and so increasing the temperature. This means that you can choose this sleeping bag with more confidence as it operates efficiently at a wider range of temperatures. With the compression stuff sack that this sleeping bag comes with, you can be sure that when you're not using the sleeping bag, it'll be only a very light and compact part of your kit. Snugpak Washing Snugpak do not recommend using a top loader washing machine with agitator because the agitator may damage the fabric or insulation. A front loading washing machine or hand washing is considered appropriate for washing Snugpak products. Snugpak recommend that you wash any of their products on a LOW temperature setting with non-bio liquid detergent and no fabric conditioner. Drying Snugpak products on a washing line is recommended. They can be tumble dried but only on a LOW setting otherwise the fabric may melt.
