Beatrix II is a true classic, the Contessa 26 was designed by David Sadler and built by Jeremy Rogers, based upon the original Folkboat design. Credited with many successful long distance voyages and considerable success in the Round Isle of Wight and other races, the Contessa 26 has excellent sea-keeping qualities - a safe smaller cruiser for family sailing and capable of extended voyaging. There is an active Contessa 26 Association online. This is a lovely example, the hull and deck are still the original gel coat and never been painted. Below the waterline was epoxied some years ago for protection. Brand new tiller fitted this season and hatchboards completely refurbished. The boat is fitted with a Yanmar 1GM Diesel inboard which runs sweetly, also very economical and pushes the boat through the water nicely. Snapdragon 22 yacht Recently lifted this yacht just before winter. Sailed a few times last year. Needs an freshen up inside and out. The yacht is a 22ft Snapdragon Bilge Keel. The boat is very stable and would be a great day boat. All that’s needing is anti fouling, painted, and a freshening up on the inside. I’m currently refurbishing the yacht at the moment in hope it’ll be finished for the summer. Would be interest in px for a speed boat project. I am selling my 24ft bilge keel yacht Jakada. This is an excellent sea boat and fun to sail. Sleeping 5 in 2 cabins.v berth forward.sea toilet to starboard, hanging cupboard opposite. Sink and coolbox.gas cooker was removed after a leak. Cooking is done by a single ring camping stove in a case. The table folds down to a double bed and aft a single berth starboard. The engine is an 8hp electric start yanmar diesel with a stainless steel propeller shaft and 3 blade prop. Roller reef jib and slab reef main sails are used but in fair condition for the age. Anchor and chain. fenders, ropes and other bits and pieces. electronics are a ray marine auto helm, hand held gps navigatior.vhf raido, cd player, cabin lights. Navigation lights, 12v shore power lead and 240v space heater. solar panel. Electric bilge pump, intruder alarm. can be viewed ashore but the electronics and internal cushions will be elsewhere. i am selling Jakada as I am going to buy a bigger yacht. £ or open to offers. Jaguar 22 sailing yacht. Wyndrift has had a new coat of gelcoated all around the hull, new hard woods rubbing strip, sea toilet, has GPs, VHF, Outboard motor, Cradle, new haliyards, all non slip decks re painted and a new hard wood rudder and tiller. She has a whole list of things included with her including, sails, spinnaker, fenders, bilge pump, fuel tank, flexi water tank, spinnaker pole, mooring warps, boom, mast with new VHF Ariel fitted and more. She does finishing off inside as it is pretty much a blank canvas to do with as you please. I really do wish I had time to invest in finishing her off but as family and job commitments get larger free time is at a premium. The outside is finished just needs a new lick of antifoul which we have and a coat of varnish which we also have.
