British Army Issue PARA Smock - Parachutist Smock

For sale is a British Army Para Smock, ( pattern) Issued/Used - but in great condition, minor wear and fading as expected from ex/used military clothing Size Label is missing, i believe it was (height/chest in CM) LARGE Highly sought after combat smock/Jacket with wool cuffs, And is the modern equivelent of the old Denison Para Smocks. I personally used one of these (with doneky tail removed) for a few years while serving as my main field jacket. Each one of these ages individually with the wearer and so each becomes unique. History of this Smock: this smock was original owned and used by a member of the Royal Marines, and was used in training and on Operations in Northern Ireland and Bosnia. For Sale, is an Original Pattern DPM Temperate Field Jacket in DPM camo, Size is (height/chest in CM) = Approximately a Large to XLarge Issued and used, great condition but has been highly modified, This jacket has been Modified in the following way, 1.) It has had PARA cuffs added 2.) The sew on buttons have been replaced with later Tape/Canadian slot buttons 3.) It has had a Pile (dutch army) liner added (button in, so is detachable) the liner reduces the size slightly ( ?) This pattern was in use prior to the ripstop combat jackets, and is still much loved (and preferred by many). Their more comfortable and warmer than the ripstop version.
