Wanted free dog for a forever loving home

Hi we're hoping anybody could help at all. We are looking for another companion to join our family I'm married to my wife and have two sons aged 8 and 6 and a 1 year old daughter. We had to have our previous dog put to sleep recently due to biting my 6 year olds face in which we needed to take immediate action (luckily there was no puncture wounds and it wasn't a severe bite). We have since been devasted as we had him for 5 years regimes him from a previous owner who emigrated to Australia in which he never showed any aggression before in the past this was completely out of the norm for him. We're hoping somebody can help us at all my wife is a stay at home mum in which she works from home also running her own business the only day she is out for a longer period of time is on a Tuesday until school run in the afternoon all throughout the week she is home. We have had dogs throughout all of our lives my wife having shitzus, rough collies, chihuahua, staff, and myself previously having staffs also. We are looking for a youngish dog in which the owner would need to provide us enough background on the dog due to the nature of what has previously happened and prefereably a medium to small dog.
