I know this is a long shot but after a number of years I am ready to own a dog again. My last dog was horrifically killed by illegal pit bull terriers and the owner imprisoned. At the time the insurance did not pay out on a death caused this way and as the owner got put in prison no compensation was forthcoming either. Finances for me and my family are currently not good but my children miss their dog and I am now looking to start owning again. I am really looking for a small breed puppy that is likely to be ok with young children but I am unable to pay the £100s asked these days. We're a very experienced home and sadly had to have our last female put to sleep, now our remaining female is miserable without her. She really needs a friend as she's never been an only dog.
