The tripod is very stable for loads up to 4 kg (e.g. a 5" Skywatcher Newtonian telescope weighs around 3.6 kg). The whole set-up is in excllent condition. The reason for selling is that I now have an 8" telescope which weighs 15 kg, so the EQ mount and tripod is unsuitable. All manuals, tools etc. are there. Wex photographic sell the Motor Drive for £70 and the Mount and Tripod for £116, so the price I am asking is approximately half the new price.
