You can use this with a telescope or camera to track planets, stars or any celestial object. The tripod is very stable for loads up to 4 kg (e.g. a 5" Skywatcher Newtonian telescope weighs around 3.6 kg). The whole set-up is in excllent condition. The reason for selling is that I now have an 8" telescope which weighs 15 kg, so the EQ mount and tripod is unsuitable. All manuals, tools etc. are there. Wex photographic sell the Motor Drive for £70 and the Mount and Tripod for £116, so the price I am asking is approximately half the new price. A Skywatcher Explorer 150PL telescope in excellent condition, mounted on a EQ3-2 Equatorial mount and including all accessories, and packing boxes. This is a large scope, suitable for viewing planets and deep space objects like nebulae. The equatorial mount allows it to track objects easily as it moves in the same way that the night sky does. Accessories include 10mm and 25mm eyepieces 2x Barlow lens that includes camera adapter (Gives magnifications of 48x, 96x, 120x and 240x) Extra upgrades are Polar Scope - this allows you to align the mount more quickly and more accurately 2-axis motor drive - when viewing with the eye you can make small adjustments with the control panel. Once you have an object centred you can set it to automatic mode and it will move the scope so that the object remains centred. This also makes it ideal for astro-photography which needs long exposures. Without the motor drive the photo would be blurred because the image moves during the exposure. But with the motor drive, the image is kept stationary resulting in sharp photos. This is not a toy or a casual gadget. It is mostly made of metal so is heavy and bulky. Ideally, you will have a good viewing position in your garden because although it breaks down easily for transportation it is not something you would want to do regularly. Green aluminium lean to greenhouse bought from The Greenhouse People. Size is approx. cm wide x cm deep x 6'6", 2m high. The door at the front slides left to right and there is also an opening rooflight. An auto window opener, thermostatically controlled is included but was never fitted. There is an aluminium potting bench which fits snugly at one end with 2 plastic trays, enabling you to stand completely inside the green house and work at the bench. We had it against a fence and so there is a marine ply backing board if required. Greenhouse has been part dismantled and is freestanding but can be further taken apart by the buyer if desired.
