Ladies Race Skis (Dry slope/ on piste)

These race skis are ladies 150cm Atomics. They are ideally for someone 5ft 3 inches or shorter. I have raced on them, but being under 8 stone and not a very aggressive slalomer, they have a lot of edge left and no scratches to the base through to the metal. When I brought these skis before I headed out to the Alps the shop said they would be like skiing on a "magic carpet", never such a true word spoken by a sales man. You can ski these skis anywhere but it's in the soft stuff with 101mm under your foot they are amazing. I used them during my season in the Alps but not since. The tops and bindings are in very very good condition. Bases and edges are a little scuffed as you would imagine but nothing a trip through the plane would not fix. Hi Ski Trab (handmade in Italy) Stelvio Light 185cm Diamir touring bindings Montana skins (very good) If you are looking at these then you probably really know your stuff anyway so I won't do the long and boring ad! I've owned these for a couple of seasons and they are great. They've skied pow on the Fly with ease - so light jump turns are a giggle even at 185, and they've skied January Glacial icey nasty stuff in LDA at 60mph plus. (Only ever criticism by anyone of these was that they could be a bit bouncy on the hard stuff cos they are so light.. not feeling it - they were solid) If you genuinely do some touring you will feel the benefit in minutes. Dragging much less weight up the hill almost makes the uphill bit fun. They are in reasonable condition, the wood tops do show scratches as do the carbon fibre edges but then if these didn't look a bit used you'd be pegged as a show off who can't walk the walk... they are used but will come with an edge sharpen and wax so ready to go. Yep it's a weird time of year to sell skis but grab a pre season bargain to get you in the mood... snow will be amazing this year (no actual factual data to support this but hey last year was nasty so we live in hope!)
