A Pair of Dynastar Ranger Skis, 180 cm. Actual length from tip to tail is 178 cm. After I bought these secondhand skis (ex rental), a small crack appeared in one toe binding, but in such a position that I was able to construct a metal support housing, which I fitted. It does not look neat, but it worked, and I have used these skis safely on several skiing holidays. Whenever I step into a pair of skis, rental or otherwise, I always check that I can release my foot from the binding, under muscle power, just to check they are safely adjusted and working correctly.
