Silver jewellery bowl, carved and perforated, 3 hallmarks at
I was suggested that this bowl could be crafted by George Roth & Co. in Hanau, which must have taken inspiration from the French school despite being a German manufacture. It also seems that the German masters explicitly took up the 16th and 17th century French style. The date of manufacture is placed definitely between the late 19th and early 20th century, as testified by the production years of the Roth family. 100% silver. Entirely carved, on sides are two edgings of clear French inspiration.A wonderful piece for real amateurs!Sold on the āAS ISā criteria.Weight: around 320 g.Size: 26 cm x 8 cm x 10 cm. Read More
