19th Century Now Rocker Rocking Horse

A truly stunning and quite rare 19th Century Bow Rocker we have named Wallace. What is so striking about Wallace is his beautiful soft face, mouth and even teeth. He has a kind face! I have been informed he is not to be ridden by children but has been ridden by a beautiful Steiff bear for a time. The magnificent 19th Century bow rocker pictured above is the same as the one owned by the renowned, wealthy and influential Phillips family in Lancashire, the horse has a fascinating provenance and also featured in the BBC 2 adaptation of Michel Faber's novel "The Crimson Petal and the White" if you managed to watch it. The measurements are - from the head his height is 3 foot 11 inches and from his saddle his height is 3 foot and the length is 6 foot 5 inches. Wallace has been restored but due to time may need some tlc. For this reason I am pricing him a bit more reasonably. VICTORIAN SILVER CHATELAINE WITH RARE ACCESSORIES ATTACHED

This is a marvellous Victorian Silver Chain Chatelaine in lovely condition and extremely collectible with some lovely and rare accessories attached. There’s various silver hallmarks with the assay office of Birmingham seen on some items, the Sifter is dated (We think the maker is Sydney Thomas Steel ) and Needle Case (Maker worn). There’s a Sterling mark to the clasp where the handle of the bucket thimble is attached but is a little worn but can just be made out. The needle case opens up nicely, has a lovely pattern engraved, as does the pin cushion and all chains are intact and of good condition.
