I bought these two Young Ladies from Pipinchick Poultry (in Somerset) They're quite young haven't yet started laying but are around Point of Lay. They must be sold together as they need company. Silkie Hen and Cockerel looking for a loving home

Lovely young Silkie Bantam hen and cockerel looking for a new home. These two have been with me from being 3 days old and they have been used for animal handling workshops in school, care homes etc. They are friendly, confident and very tame. They are happy to be handled and will sit on your lap for a cuddle! They are great with kids, get on fine with my rabbits and guinea pigs and are unafraid of dogs. They would make great family pets for someone in a more rural setting than me. I will be very sad to see them go, but cockerel, Cloud is getting louder and I don't think my neighbours appreciate him! They are used to being in a coop at night and when I am out, but love to free range when I am around. They will need shelter as they don't like the rain, but don't fly so they are easy to contain.
