Sigma SDR-28H All Solid Wood Martin Style Acoustic Guitar

This Sigma dreadnought is in immaculate condition and is less than two years old from new. It features: Solid Sitka spruce top Solid rosewood back and sides Mahogany neck Ebony fingerboard Bone nut and bone compensated saddle Grover machine heads Herringbone binding It is a delight to play, has a low action with excellent intonation and is strung with light gauge strings. I once owned a Martin HD28 and played this alongside for a few months. I ended up selling the Martin and keeping this because I found it gave a better overall sound and tone across the range. To be honest, this is a Martin HD28 in all but price! The build quality cannot be faulted and matches any top-of-the-range instrument. In short, this is a great guitar. Martin D28 and Martin hardshell case

I Purchased this guitar in from Northern acoustics in Leeds. The iconic Martin D28. I have never seen a bad review about these guitars. I had to have it repaired due to the nitro cellulose lacquer reacting to an item of clothing I was wearing. The repair was done by reputable luthier Jim Fleeting who did a great job. There is slight line where the new lacquer joins the old application, but it is hardly noticeable unless you look for it. This was difficult to photograph as it is not visible from every angle. I have used the light reflection and zoomed in in order to magnify it (although it does make it look far worse than it actually is) as I think it is important to show any defects where possible. Apart from slight abrasions the instrument is in otherwise very good condition. I am selling this guitar because I don’t use very often, as I play my OM guitar most of the time. Takamine F-360S solid top MIJ dreadnought guitar copy of Martin D-28 lawsuit

Vintage 40 year old MIJ Takamine built as a copy of D-28 including M type headstock. Light and sturdy. Sounds beautiful, very balanced with good highs and lows as you expect from matured wood. It survived in a good condition with no significant wear to frets or fretboard. One thing to mention is that Lacquer cracked at top's centre seam as typical for old solid top guitars. It's an old feature of the guitar and does not affect it in any way. Good action around 2.5mm at 12 fret. Other F360s are listed around mark so I'm listing it cheap taking into consideration it's not a museum condition:) No case. Will be safely packed in the box. Vintage Old Acoustic Parlour Guitar. Martin Strings Sunburst

Vintage East German Parlour Guitar - Recently Restored What can I say about this other than "Wow" ! This is a vintage Musima guitar from the days when East Germany were a forgotten country, behind the Berlin wall. It is probably 50 years old but I've done a great job cleaning her up, and restoring her, even if I say so myself, without losing any vintage charm. She's had a knock to the lower shoulder at some point in her life, (see pics) which you simply wouldn't see unless you wanted to stare at it, but the rest of her is very lovely indeed. Closed tuners, floating vintage bridge, and a new chrome tailpiece, together with a custom pickguard. Nice grains throughout, and a rather stunning sunburst finish. The guitar has had it's fretboard oiled, finish oiled, and tuners serviced, and the nut and bridge have been cut with luthier files to ensure no string snag. Fret edges smoothed and nut lubricated with vaseline and pencil lead. Zero fret lowered and crowned, and a brand new set of Martin custom lights added (11 gauge). The guitar has an action of just under 4mm at the 12th fret. No truss rod, so a slight gap in the middle, but not one that will stop you playing it. I set it up with a view to playing slide on it in various tunings, and I'd recommend it was used for slide as opposed to picking, but as long as you can play, you'll still be able to play it in standard tuning for basic playing needs, and you're not just limited to Cowboy chords, as it does play up the neck too, but it's not going to be suitable for chord melody stuff, unless you have very strong hands. Certainly it isn't a guitar for a beginner, but somebody who is appreciative of collectable vintage guitars, and understands the value in vintage charm, over modern play-ability. NOTE: The case is NOT included as I'm already short of a few cases for my own guitars. Hard to put a value on a vintage guitar, so I'm going to say £299 or might consider a part ex / swap for another instrument as long as it's quality, be it Guitar / Banjo / Tenor Ukulele etc. There is definitely not another like this, in this condition, for sale in the UK. Postage an option, as I've a few boxes left over, as long as any buyer pays me via Paypal using the gift / family option, so I don't pay fees, or fall foul of those who try to play the system. Great condition, just one tiny knock on lower side of the top (pictured). Solid mahogany all around, with a sunburst effect on front and back. This is quite an uncommon guitar as Martin don't sunburst their woods often due to the risky process.
