Quality medium weight turnout rug made by Shires. It is 6ft from chest to back. It is a combo rug with a neck cover already built in. In navy blue with light blue contrast. There is a 180g quilt inner lining and 600 denier waterproof, breathe able & ripstop outer material. With adjustable cross surcingles, buckled front straps for extra strength, back leg straps, tail flap and Velcro fastened neck cover. I washed it down last week, it is still a little discoloured, but smells clean. There isn't any dirt on it, just slightly mud stained. There are a couple of small wire pricks on the back, but only minor and rug is still in very good condition and would last a few more winters.

Shires Tempest turnout rug, fixed neck, really cosy and heavy weight, a few small stitched repairs and one large patch near tail end, missing two plastic fixing clips from neck on one side, and leg straps (I maybe have leg straps somewhere...) but otherwise all good and strong. Note: you can fasten the neck by putting the straps through remaining plastic clip on other side, and doing a slip knot fine...) I have for sale a navy and red shires 180g turnout rug size 5'6. It has the labels and has only been tried on but sadly I need a 5'9 and that's sold out. I paid £45 pound for it plus postage so I'm happy to post at buyers cost. This is a lovely fitting rug and I have bought one for my bigger horse. The 180g is perfect for spring and autumn.
