completely modified Shetland 535. cabin roof raised, giving head room, raising the beds makeing them wider with more stowage underneath. much more spacious then old design. all work is to a excellent standard using high quality marine materials. totally unique boat. includes a sweet running electric start yamaha 60hp, that can push boat along at 30 knots.pumps water perfectly and starts first time. starter battery, leisure battery on a split charge relay with solar panel. lots of electrics including cabin, nav and anchor lights, 12volt cooler, bilge pump, 12 volt sockets etc.. a small gas stove with cooking gear also includes all the usual fuel tanks, fenders, anchor and warp, fishing gear, and loads more goodies! trailer is in perfectly useable conditon but looks a bit tired. the hatch cover on the cabin needs some tlc as paint has flaked away and the main door handle has snapped so needs fixing. For sale shetland ft long, year produced was . THE BOAT EXTERIOR GRP gull wing hull anti fouled 2 years ago, will need to be done this year. I can get this done at the cost of the new buyer, please contact for details. The rest of the exterior is in the original gel coat and has the usual cleats, front Ballard, pulpit rail, hand rail on the roof, nav lights and radio arial. The bump rail that runs around the middle has some damage to it on the starboard bow, I bought the boat like this and never got round to replacing it, and does not affect the boat in any way. There is a tonneau cover for the rear of the boat and keeps the rear water tight when not in use. THE INTERIOR/CABIN The interior has been painted white but is a blank canvas and is ready for the new buyer to make it their own. Within the cabin is the ship to shore radio, all the control switches such as interior light, power for the nav lights etc.... along with the main cut off switch, there is also a starter battery for the engine and a Leisure battery powering everything else these are charged when the engine is running and when it isn't then there is a solar panel to trickle charge the battery. Also there is a fire extinguisher in the cabin. REAR DECK. The rear deck has blue leather seating for 3 people, the seat it self lefts up for ample storage. The fuel can sits nicely under the seat and is out of the way. the floor is marine ply with a wood effect flooring over the top, under the flooring is the bilge pump. All the steering controls are on the port side of the boat and all in good working order. Also a fish finder and depth gage can be found by the steering wheel. There is also a fire extinguisher. THE ENGINE. The engine is a late 90s 2 stroke petrol engine, it has been regularly serviced and has had a reconditioned gearbox last year, the engine is a great engine and has never let me down. TRAILER. The boat comes with its own trailer, this is a breakneck trailer which is easy to launch and retrieve, there are no brake on this trailer and comes with 2 almost new tyres(very little use). The trailer has had a lot of work done to it in the way of welding and is a good solid trailer and nice to tow. A brand new winch has been fitted in the last couple of weeks. This shetland will come with lots of bits and pieces like a bow fender, 4/6 side fenders, anchor and chain, and the list goes on. She will also come with a boat safety certificate until , meaning she has passed any test and is safe to use on any British water way. We have owned this boat for 4 years the first 2 years she was on a deep water mooring in exmouth and took us 20 miles off shore to do some fishing. Then the last 2 years she has been in the local harbour and has given us some great times on the summer evenings cruising around. With a good clean and polish, antifoul and some fuel she is ready to go. Genuine reason for selling, we need to get a bigger boat. I think I have told everything I know about the boat but if I have forgotten anything I will add it to the listing as I remember. I have advertised this boat elsewhere.
