Appaloosa/TB x Welsh Mare for Sale in Cardiff

'Arla' has been owned by me since a yearling. She is 3yrs old on . Her dam is a quality registered Welsh mare with Eppynt and Revel lines. Her sire is a 16hh appaloosa x TB stallion by the famous 'Champagne Charlie' and 'Amazing Blue' Arla has an amazing temperament, loves people and other horses. Not marish. She comes to call in the field, picks feet up regularly, stands tied, had rugs, tack, hi-viz, boots etc. She doesn't like the scary measuring stick quite yet, tho' will happily have small children run around and sit on her! She has had many walks in hand out on country roads / woodlands alone and in company. She has been introduced to coloured poles in the school and walks over them happily. She is good with traffic, the farrier, dentist, children and dogs. She also does a trick and trots on voice command. She does load but likes to think about it first! But this is only because she has only ever been on a horsebox twice with me leading her (a rusty novice owner!) I intended to keep Arla myself but I am relocating and sadly cannot take her with me, hence this utterly heartbreaking sale. She will make a fantastic all rounder / competition pony. Hi, my names dreamer, i am a 17hh 4.5 year old appaloosa x tb mare, although im a big girl i am very gentle and love attention and kisses.Please dont be put off by my age, i am a sensible head on a young body, am very willing and always try my best. I am living in Epsom at Horton farm and we have a school, a few cross counrty jumps, use of poles, round pen and a track that goes around the outside of the farm. The country park is accessible from our farm with the choice of roadwork or only track. i am very confident on the road when it comes to cars,lorry's other horses, motorbikes, dogs, cyclists, loud noises etc.. the only thing i am not to keen on is drains and puddles. i do not run away from them i just have to stand and look at them until my rider asks me to walk on and i tend to just avoid it. I also enjoy my work in the school but i am still young and only know the basics at the moment but happy to learn some new tricks! I can sometimes get bored of doing the same things so i like to go out in horton country park and ashstead common. i am happy going either alone or with another horse but i dont like it when other horses go behind me, i get very grumpy and cant keep my legs to myself.
