Experienced, kind and gentle person wanted to share/ride 14.2hh cob mare. She has recently been brought back into work, is sensible and eager to please, loves riding to places new, bombproof in the heaviest of traffic and really enjoys grooming and being fussed. She can be really stubborn until bond with new rider has been established. Any potential sharer/rider therefore, needs to get to know and gain her trust before extensive ridden work. Wizard is available to share 3 days per week. He is based in Chessington where he must stay. He is older now and knows his job, he has taught so many children to ride over the years. Would suit a child coming from a riding school or moving on from a lead rein pony. He is currently doing pony club rally's and has recently been to cross country although he needs a younger jockey as his current jockey now needs to move onto a speedier pony. He is available either as: Happy Hacker George loves to hack out, spend time on the ground being groomed and pampered and is great with kids. He would ideally suit someone with experience either as a mother/child combo or someone who wants to happy hack. He loves to hack out and the yard where he is kept leads straight out onto Polesdan Lacey National Trust Land, so no roads involved. Someone who wants to compete Due to his age George is still on his schooling journey and if you are interested in competing at any discipline happy to support this as he is a clean sheet. He is proficient at walk, trot, canter and can jump, however as his owners he is very much a family horse being ridden by my children and adults alike and we are all novice riders, so if you are interested in competing him I would recommend experience as he can through in the odd random buck in the school, and he is very much a clean sheet. Obviously as his owners we are bias, however George is proving to be an amazing calm horse, he is gentle with the children, is happy to be clipped, have the dentist file his teeth, be seen by the farrier and to be man handled by children and adults alike for ages. Sadly for sale due to changes in my circumstances! This mare is such a delight and so super easy to deal with and ride. She has a very calm and unflappable nature which is why I bought her over a year ago for my children to progress with. She is forward to ride with minimal effort to ask for walk, trot, canter transitions. Cracking little jump on her although I've only jumped her online. She's had harness and a cart on.
