Vintage Shabby Chic LINEN-FOLD WRITING BUREAU Desk + Key

This is a beautiful vintage linen-fold bureau. A quality piece of furniture made in Britain by Old Charm Furniture. Ideal as a laptop desk or a dressing table. This bureau has been lovingly up-cycled: Chalk painted in Annie Sloan 'Graphite' and 'Paris Grey', subtly distressed, then finished with 2 coats of satin varnish for extra protection and durability. The chest section has: One smaller drawer at top (beautifully engraved) Pull-out lid supports Three slightly larger drawers below Original embellished metal drop handles The bureau section has: Engraved linen-fold lid Pigeon holes and laptop space below Cable hole at the very back Unusual, embellished metal hinges Scarlet red leather writing surface Lockable with ornate key This vintage piece of furniture has the odd mark, commensurate with it's age, which all adds to it's shabby chic character. I believe it is mahogany, but I'm no expert.
