Shabby Chic Bureau Bookcase/Secretariat with leaded stain glass windows

This charming rustic light blue bookcase with pretty stained glass windows has been painted with Annie Sloan’s ‘Louis blue’ chalk paint and finished with a clear wax. It could add cottagey charm and character to either a dinning room or lounge and be used to display dishes or books. The desk is good for storing lots of small things and could be used as an occasional desk. I used it mainly as a bookcase with extra storage. Dimensions: H (189 cm), D (38 cm), W (72.5 cm) The two bottom drawers are a bit stiff and sticky but this could probably be fixed with a bit of sanding or soap. At some point the hinges may need replacing though they are working now. It can be detached into two pieces, although because I have never detached it, the top part of the desk that the bookcase sits on hasn’t been painted. I’m not sure what decade this is from. It seems it’s in an art deco style looking at it’s interesting feet from perhaps early to mid s. Collection only please. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
