Here is a gorgeous, Professionally upcycled solid Pine extending Farmhouse Dining table and 6 Pine chairs. This set will comfortably seat up to 8 people. The chairs and the main body of the table have been finished in Annie Sloan "Original" (off White) The paintwork was then very lightly distressed to add to its style and character. Finally it was finished in a Polyvine "Wax Varnish" which gives it the look & feel of wax but with the durability of varnish !!! The table top has been taken back to bare wood, given our special "Antique" stain and then 5 coats of clear varnish for durability. Beautiful solid pine table and 4 chairs when closed it's 120cm diameter when the extention is added to the middle its 120 x 160cm will easily seat 6-8. The extention is not housed in the table but has to be stored separate. The base has been painted in eggshell white. This is not a new table so there are knocks and blemishes on the top but nothing major. The table top is extremely thick and chunky 45cm. The chairs have been sanded then hand painted in eggshell white and recovered. I also have 4 fiddle back chairs. All has been hand painted so may show signs of this. This solid pine farmhouse style table and six chairs has been painted in a soft grey chalk paint and then distressed to give it the popular shabby chic look. The finish has been protected with clear wax. The table top and the chair seats have been stripped and sanded back to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has then been enhanced in places and then wax applied over it for protection. The table panels have been decoupaged with a grey wood effect print to finish the look which has been protected with several coats of hard wearing varnish. The ladder back studded chairs are sturdy and the table legs remove for ease of transportation. Although this set comes with 6 chairs it could comfortably seat 8. This has a previous life so has picked up the odd knock along the way however this does not detract from the beauty of the piece in fact it only gives it a more authentic shabby chic feel. This solid pine farmhouse style dining table and chairs has been painted in Annie Sloan's country grey chalk paint. The finish has been distressed slightly to give it the popular shabby chic look. The table top has been stripped and sanded to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has been protected with a flat matte varnish as has the paint on the chairs and table base. The chairs have are a high ladder back and the set comes with two carvers. The seat pads have been recovered in a luxurious chenille material in a stony grey colour that compliments the neutral palette perfectly. The table top is unusual in design as it tapers slightly at each end and I've tried to pick this up in the photo's. It also separates from the base making it easier for transportation. This set has had a previous life and been imported from Australia so has picked up the odd knock along the way. However this only gives it a more authentic shabby chic feel.
