This dressing table and stool have been nicely renovated to a very high standard. The outside surfaces have been sanded back then two coats of undercoat and two coats of a Farrow and Ball colour SKIMMING STONE which has warm light grey undertones. Whilst the top has been finish with four coats of matt varnish. The paint is an oil based paint which is hard wearing to knocks and bumps then finished with a good quality wax polish. Shabby Chic Dressing Table with Mirror and matching Stool

This dressing table has been modernised within our workshop. Firstly we painted the dessing table with grey undercoat and the inside of all the drawers. Then we painted the dressing table purple except for the side panels. The grey undercoat was then pulled through the purple paint enhancing the detail of the dressing table. The stool was sanded using 3 different grains of sand paper. Then it was painted with grey undercoat then painted purple. This stunning large shabby chic dressing table and mirror has been painted in customized white chalk paint. It has been distressed to give the popular shabby chic look. It has been waxed all over with a clear wax for protection and durability. The dresser consists of 3 draws and two cupboards with the center draw being the largest of the three. The dresser comes with a secret stool which has been covered in black crush velvet material and is on casters for easy movement... with storage space and once in position looks as if the dresser has another 3 draws...see pics. This is a very eye catching one off unique piece. All fixtures are brass and they have been kept like this as it adds to the finished look. As with any pre-loved piece it has had a previous life so has picked up the odd knock along the way but this only adds to the shabby chic look. This unit can be separated and the bottom half is extremely heavy and should be taken into consideration for transportation.
