This solid pine farmhouse style dining table and chairs has been painted in Annie Sloan's country grey chalk paint. The finish has been distressed slightly to give it the popular shabby chic look. The table top has been stripped and sanded to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has been protected with a flat matte varnish as has the paint on the chairs and table base. The chairs have are a high ladder back and the set comes with two carvers. The seat pads have been recovered in a luxurious chenille material in a stony grey colour that compliments the neutral palette perfectly. The table top is unusual in design as it tapers slightly at each end and I've tried to pick this up in the photo's. It also separates from the base making it easier for transportation. Table top could do with another sand down now as there are a few marks. Table legs can be removed for easier transportation.
