Shabby chic country farmhouse table and 4 chairs

This stunning country farmhouse table has been painted in vintage white chalk paint. it has then been slightly distressed to give it the popular shabby chic look. This finish has been protected with a wax feel varnish giving it a lovely feel and making it very durable, The table top which is extending sits on a beautiful single carved pedestal base has been stripped and sanded back to reveal the stunning tiger oak inlay. This has been protected with 3 coats of a satin wax feel varnish. When the table is extended it will seat 6 but this set only comes with 4 chairs. When the extension is removed the table becomes round. The four high spindle back chairs have carved detailing and the seats have been reupholstered in a shabby chic patchwork material to give it the country look. The colour of the material is in shades of pink blues and green and this has been finished with a silver studs trim. This set has had a previous life so has picked up the odd knock along the way but this does not affect the piece in any way and only gives it a more authentic shabby chic feel. I am offering this on a collection basis only but can get a quote from a courier if you need one. This extending dining table and 4 beautifully carved chairs have been painted in Annie Sloan's old white chalk paint. The finish has been slightly distressed to give it the popular shabby chic look and then protected with clear wax. The table top sits on a single solid carved base with metal claw feet. When the top is closed its round and quite small so perfect for smaller spaces but can be extended to seat 6 on special occasions. The 4 chairs have been upholstered in a black and white Aquitaine floral print and finished with a black trim. As with any re furbished piece it has picked up the odd knock along the way but this only lends itself to a more authentic shabby chic feel. The table and chairs are good and sturdy with many more years of use. I am offering this on a collection basis only but i am able to get a quote from a courier.
