Stove - Vintage Courtier multi burner in working order in
Dark green Enamel Wrought Iron Vintage stove. Measures 61 cm high, 47 cm wide and 30 cm deep. In Full working order, with specialist 'tool' (photographed) for opening:closing the doors when hot and operating the ash dispenser. The handle is also used to open the ash tray door and remove the ash pan for disposing of ash. Also comes with Chimney tube and has been used to allow smoke out of rear. As you can see from the photo's it is possible to allow flow out by unscrewing 'top plate' and attaching this cover over the current hole at the back of the stove. In was manufactured by Mitchel Russell & Co, of Glasgow The enamel doors, side plates and top plates can be removed in order to move the stove without damaging its appearance. I have a trolley to assist in moving the stove to a car. The glass in the door is still intact but some parts will require replacement at some point if you are fussy about it's appearance. The fire bricks have some ware, one has a crack but this has not gone all the way through, hence there has been no super heating of the iron exterior as you can see from the photos' where i have removed the enamel covering side plates to aid viewing. Replacement fire bricks and fire cement only costs a few pounds and are available to buy direct from dealers on line. Viewing, by arrangement, no problem. No offers on price please.
