GP 14 glass fibre sailing dinghy with built-in buoyancy in the bows and on each side which are topped by varnished wood seats. Varnished with non-slip patterned marine ply wooden flooring. White hull and blue decks. Gold-coloured anodised aluminium mast. Aluminium boom and spinnaker pole. Two oars included. Three sails - main, jib and spinnaker. Sail number . Centre mainsheet. Mast-up storage cover. Snipe road trailer with piggy-back launching trolley. Very versatile family dinghy which can be used for family sailing, racing, or, with the addition of rowlocks or an outboard, it can be rowed or motored when the wind dies after a day out dinghy cruising. This a Hurley Alacrity 19, she has recent been completely overhauled, everything has been completely refitted, all new paint; antifoul, freeboard, deck. She is equipped with a full set of sails including a spare main and jib, I have converted the main from a roller reef to a slab reef for better handling in rough water. She has a 6hp, 4 stroke long shaft outboard that has also been fully serviced with a new impeller, oil change and valve polished. This boat will come with a small 2 man inflatable dinghy. Totally dry and with all new ropes and hardware this boat comes with two sets of sails, numerous accessories and a road trailer with launching trolley. The mast was new when garaged about 5 years ago. Minor repairs required to hull. This boat is now in the way and so the price reflects a real bargain. Eye-catching wooden boat in good repair for age. The GP14 class has been around since the late 's, and is equally at home on inland or sheltered coastal waters. GP stands for General Purpose, and that's exactly what they are. Hull paint and deck varnish in good sound condition, and internal varnish and raised floor non-slip deck paint is very serviceable. Aluminium mast and boom, with kicker and horse mainsheet. Standing and running rigging in good order. Lifting wooden centreboard and rudder with aluminium tiller and extension. There are three mainsails, one with a non-original number is still pretty stiff and crinkly, with a jib and a genoa in similar condition. The other two are nothing to write home about, although one has 2 sets of reefing points and a flotation envelope at the head. There is a spinnaker and pole, although the control lies and blocks etc are not fitted, and may not all be there. For storage protection an aged mast-up boat cover in working condition is included, with a small amount of damage around the rudder pintle. The unbraked combination trailer and launching trolley is definitely not new, but the tyres and wheel bearings are in good condition, and the road axles are on isolastic type suspension units. The steel chassis are galvanised, and show no sign of corrosion. There is no safety chain/cable, so you may like to fashion your own, and there is no lightboard. There are 2 elderly life-jackets (not buoyancy aids), which can be manually inflated, or gas operated, but one has no CO2 cartridge. Servicing is advised. Please only contact me by Email or Text. The buyer will need to collect from Hunts Sailing Club Saint Ives PE27 4YA, which is where it is currently stored. The overboom cover is in good condition (needs cleaning) but the stiching is starting to come undone on the velcro fastening. The Gudgeon (new) and pintle need re-fitting but I don't have time to do it. The wooden rubbing strake also needs repairing on the rear of the boat, but this is only cosmetic. RELISTED DUE TO TWO TIMEWASTERS - ! SAILING DINGHY GP14 Name of Black Pudding. Wooden GP14 with aluminium mast and boom. Very good condition always dry stored in heated garage. Known history (only 2 owners) for the last 26 years. Excellent rigging with quality fittings. Recent new buoyancy bags. Two sets of reconditioned sails and a spinnaker which I have not used but looks good condition. Spare rudder and some paperwork. Has racing measurement paperwork although not raced by me! Easy to sail single handed or take the family out for a day on the water. New tyres on road trailer and launching trailer this year. Unused. Just tow away and use. No work to do before use but could do with a bit of a rub down and re varnish but this does not detract from the quality of the boat. NO ROT anywhere mast step is fine. Quality cover which is waterproof. Giving up sailing now so has to go any questions please ask. Open to sensible offers. But not in rush to sell. Grab a good family boat for the summer.
