Fabulous set of 4 Victorian dining chairs, Each chair retains the Original brown leather upholstery with brass studded trims & horse hair padding, The leather is worn age appropriate & adds a great stress look, Frames are strong & sturdy with iron rods underneath to strengthen, Dimension,width, ", Depth 19", Seat height ", height chair has split leather but retains all padding. I don't know much about these chairs,I bought them from a friends Dad the moment I saw them as they are so lovely, I have not seen any like them, I think they are around early 17 or 18 century, just what I read, I am only looking for £100 for them, I paid more, but I don't have the space for them now,

Harlequin Set of 8 pre-Victorian Dining Chairs

We are looking for a good home for these genuine antique dining chairs, suitable for reupholstery or upcycling. They were bought by my father many decades ago with the intention of doing the work himself. When he died last month we found them in the loft and brought them down to the garage. I brought out one carver and one dining chair for photographs. We think they are all pre-Victorian and that the 6 matching dining chairs are rosewood. The carvers may be mahogany. The other carver is possibly in better condition. The other 5 dining chairs are in similar condition to the one I photographed. There are also 2 balloon backed Victorian chairs which I did not photograph but which can go along with these. As you can see they do requires some tlc so we are happy to give them to someone willing to take the project on. We would really prefer for them not to go to the tip. Victorian dining chairs. Late 's. Set of four.

Here I have four antique Victorian, original chairs. They have been used in our farmhouse. One chair has been broken at some point in its life, has a glued leg and two angle brackets under the seat, see (photo). This chair is rickety and if not being used for show will need some attention. The other three are solid. These are used chairs and the seats on two are starting to fray (see photo). Otherwise, considering their age they are in pretty good condition. Odd marks, but no deep scratches or dents. These are as seen in the photo's I have not polished them up for sale or anything. They are what they are, many thanks for looking.
