Collection of 12 vintage brass dies - very rare!
This is a very rare collection of dies. About 2cm diameter for the round dies and 3cmx2cm for the square/rectangular shapes. Please read details below if further interested. This vintage brass die belonged to a on old British firm called Rely that was based in Croydon, Surrey UK. It was used to actually produce key rings, hence it is a positive engraved figure, as once it was applied to the keyring, the depression on the base created by pressing the die was filled with enamel and hand finished. I had purchased from the owner’s son, and he said that at the time, it cost over £60 to produce one single die, from design to finished die. So these 12 dies had cost over £700 to produce way back in the 's! Each die is the only one in the world, that is how rare it gets. The Concorde and London landmarks are worth a fortune each for the specialised collector. Selling for £500 as a job lot. No offers please, this is worth several times this figure. It can be even use for further production even today. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
