For Sale is my Mountfield 4.0HP 20 inch cut petrol Self Propelled lawnmower which comes with its large grassbox. The lawnmower is in very good condition, very clean and very easy to start and use. Good reason for sale: see below. Fitted with the Legendary Briggs and Stratton 4 Stroke engine I have received a newer lawnmower from my sister who has installed artificial grass and no longer needs her lawnmower so my one is up for sale. In my ownership I have replaced the spark plug, cleaned the air filter, changed the oil and sharpened the blade. I have used this lawnmower all this season and its proven to be always reliable. The metal deck is in fantastic condition, one small paint chip (which I have rubbed down and repainted) and a few scuffs as expected from normal use. The grass collector is also in very good condition. I think there is a small black plastic cover missing from the top of the grassbox, it doesn't appear to affect the grass collection at all. Just trying to be as honest as possible in the description of this lawnmower. Very little wear on the wheels. It starts very easily, press the primer bulb 5 times and usually the first or second pull of the starter and its ready to cut grass. You are welcome to come and try the lawnmower before buying it. This is a large, reliable self propelled lawnmower that would be ideal for a large lawn. I'm asking for £ only. Grab a bargain. It has an electric start which works perfectly and the battery holds a great charge, there is also a manual pull start which works fine. There is a roller on the back so it will put stripes in the lawn. The is a variable speed controller and the self propelled mechanism works fine. The mower has a blade brake clutch which works fine although is a little noisy when the blade is disengaged, but importantly not when the blade is engaged and the blade seems to turn at full speed as it easily cuts through long grass with no problems. There are a few cosmetic issues and a couple of cracks in some of the plastic here and there but overall still a good useable mower.
