Great fishing boat and the snipe trailer it's sitting on. hull is in good shape it's water tight and very stable. transom is solid just needs antifouling and it's good to go, personally I would give it a lick of paint but not essential. cuddy is big enough to shelter from the odd rain storm as we've had 3 of us in there doing that exact thing when fishing. I would say a maximum of 3 people on board, but would hold more. delivery is possible if you don't have a tow bar but would need to be local due to busy work schedule. trailer tows straight and true and you would hardly know it was there when towing. perfect project boat or to be put straight in the water. Replacements parts are also surprisingly cheap. "Impala" is in VGC for the year, with no sign of hull problems and little work needing done to get her racing. The sails haven't seen much use and are in decent condition, with comparatively minor wear at wear points. To get her fully sailing she needs: * 2 X Shrouds (£ each last time I looked). * 1 X Connector for the mainsail uphaul (should be around £20) The plywood coaming was also removed after rotting at the edges. Simple and cheap fix (ply could be used again, but personally I'd use UPVC skirting or cut perspex sheet glued into the slots). A repair to the rudder could do with repainting. Mast and rigging are in VGC. The gimbal for the main sheet only uses one of its two available pulleys as currently set up. If I was keeping the boat I'd either get a 2nd-hand single-pulley gimbal or a re-rig the sheets to the rear deck to make use of both pulleys and give lower-geared sheeting as on modern F15s. I'd also re-rig the control lines so that they're accessible further aft (currently they're operated from the mast foot). Hull is smooth, but she will need antifoul for the season. Maxum SCL power boat / speedboat / cuddy boat / motor boat for sale 19ft, inboard 3 litre 135hp mercruiser engine with alpha one stern drive. Built commissioned seats and 2 berth cuddy cabin. The 6 seats convert to make 3 sun loungers. There is access to the bow through the windshield that opens out for another sunbathing space! 90 litre fuel tank, vhf radio, garmin fish finder. Good condition for age, well maintained. No rips in seats, tidy condition, only some light scratches in hull here and there which is to be expected on a boat this age. Dashboard has analogue dials for temp, oil pressure, voltage, trim height, fuel gauge! Rpm, mph. I've spent several ££££ bringing her up together and she starts first time and runs very well. The engine has been overhauled and maintained by a reputable local mercruiser engineer. The engine is reliable and economical to run compared to many other inboard engines. The 3 litre 135hp gives plenty enough power to pull skiers/toys or blast along at 30mph + The only reason I'm selling is because I want to upgrade to a larger maxum sports cruiser. The boat started life on lake Windermere and then lived in Wales with a mechanic who matanined her himself. The boat has no antifoul and has the original gel coat as has always been trailered. I keep her on a mooring but she is lifted and jet washed regularly. The boat comes with a road trailer. The only thing that needs replacing is the white camper canopy, I have an all over boat cover I put over the boat instead which keeps the water out fine. I have kept the original canopy incase in needs to be used as a patten to make a new one. A genuine boat that will be cheap to maintain by the new owner as I've had all the work done and should give several years of fun trouble free boating.
