Gebruder Sohne Upright Piano, This is a lovely sounding German piano with a mahogany case. This instrument plays beautifully and the case is in a respectable condition for it's age with just minor marks picked up over time. It has a full iron frame & under damper action, the type of piano that is recommended by piano tuners and teachers and in fact was the personal piano of a tuner prior to my ownership. No damage or discolouration to keys. I have moved to a smaller house and I now sadly have to sell. I am selling this piano as I have moved into a 3 storey house and cannot get it up the stairs. My piano tuner sourced this piano for me after my old piano finally gave up. It came from a school who were upgrading their music equipment and so was free subject to me arranging the collection and I am offering the same deal. Having come from a school the body work has been a bit damaged but the sound quality is great and once tuned will be back to its original sound. Boyd London Upright Piano and adjustable black piano stool going free. It's a good and solid upright piano that has been taken care of and loved for 3 years. It's no Steinway but has great character and has a decent tone once tuned. It has been tuned regularly and has had an overhaul (including some new felts replaced). It is in good working order and great fun to play. It would make a great piano for a family, a beginner or a good all rounder for a church hall, pub or school. I can get it out my front door but cannot transport it any further than the pavement outside my house. It has a cast iron frame and is very very heavy: will need at least 2 or 3 sturdy people to move it. Piano removals recommended!
