These are the legendary Scarpa Manta boots (my 2nd pair) These are a 3-4 season walking/Mountaineering boot. My experience is that these boots are comfy straight out of the box. Scarpa Manta are crampon compatibility B2. These boots have been worn once. There are no defects on them and are like new. I have to sell them as I have had accident and I am unable to continue climbing. I bought these for £ last Winter for Highlands Winter expedition. Gutted I have to sell them. Scarpa Manta Boots, Scarpa Manta B2 boots suitable for hill walking, scrambling, winter walking and mountaineering. They will take a C1 or C2 crampon. I have worn these less than 10 times and have now painfuly come to the conclusion that they are too big for me! They are UK size 9.5 or EU 44. They come with a pair of Berghaus Yeti gatiers (glued to the boots) for great snow protection. The gatiers have two tiny tears (less than 1 inch) and one tear about 2 inches, from the last time I used them with crampons (skills!) last winter. A bit of duct tape and they'll be fine though. Light and very comfortable boot & only worn about a dozen times so in very good condition - the sole is immaculate as can be seen from the pictures. These boots cost me £265. No problem with heel lifting, in fact I think this boot has a extremely comfortable rocker. I use it for long alpine climbing, with Grivel 2F crampons, and for the approach to the mountain. Winter walking boots - Scarpa Manta GSb - Size 45 (EU) (UK)

Scarpa Manta GSb (B2 for crampon compatibility). Uppers in perfect condition, good tread with just a bit of the shank exposed at the toes (see photos – this is just a bit of rubber wear though and doesn’t affect performance/waterproofness). I'm selling these boots because, after just a few expeditions into the hills, I've had to accept they aren't quite the right fit for me. They would make an excellent pair of winter boots, especially for someone who already has three season boots but wants some stiffer boots for the odd winter outing. They were about £200 new.
