For sale is my beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed Vintage Sasha Doll In her original blue and white gingham dress with matching pants. She is16” tall Fully jointed smooth limbs. She has original Stringing – arms are white, legs are brown. Strongly rooted hair. (The fringe has had a trim!!) Slight mark on her face near her mouth. Originally one of the most successful play dolls being made from the mid 's to early 's in Germany and England. Sasha has a unique appeal. Beautifully proportioned and skilfully painted. She has a soft gentle expression that still appeals to both children and collectors. Named after their designer, Swiss sculptress Sasha Morgenthaler. My own childhood Gregor from the 70's, in his jeans and blue jumper, which has been slightly darned on the neck and needs a tiny darn at the front. He has his original rather grubby pants, but I can only find one incomplete sandal though I'm afraid. He seems to be in perfect condition, with no marks I can see,but I may have trimmed his hair at some point in the past, although I don't remember doing it! He has white strings and poses beautifully. I also have some rather snazzy hand -made pyjamas and a knitted vest and jumper made to fit him, if required, as a separate lot, or by negotiation.
