Gregor Sasha Doll

My own childhood Gregor from the 70's, in his jeans and blue jumper, which has been slightly darned on the neck and needs a tiny darn at the front. He has his original rather grubby pants, but I can only find one incomplete sandal though I'm afraid. He seems to be in perfect condition, with no marks I can see,but I may have trimmed his hair at some point in the past, although I don't remember doing it! He has white strings and poses beautifully. I also have some rather snazzy hand -made pyjamas and a knitted vest and jumper made to fit him, if required, as a separate lot, or by negotiation. Vintage 's Gregor Sasha Doll

For sale is my Vintage blonde haired, blue eyed Gregor Sasha Doll in his original denim top and trouser suit with a Sasha scarf. Slight tear in the top at the back, please see photos 16” tall Fully jointed smooth limbs. Original Stringing – arms are white, legs are brown. Strongly rooted hair. Originally one of the most successful play dolls being made from the mid 's to early 's in Germany and England. Sasha has a unique appeal. Beautifully proportioned and skilfully painted. He has a soft gentle expression that still appeals to both children and collectors. Named after their designer, Swiss sculptress Sasha Morgenthaler. No original boxes or tags I'm selling all my Sasha doll collection so please see my other items. My parents gave these to me when I was a child in the mid 70's. All from the toy shop Tridias in Bath.
