This bike carrier is very practical and easy to put on and take off. I have used it to carry my road bike with narrow wheels and my 29er mountain bike with big chunky wheels. It is in very good condition having been used only a couple of time. Check Saris website to make sure that the Gran Fondo will fit your vehicle. Brand new Saris Bones 2 Bike rack and cross bar, cost £146 earlier this year - never used - although it is easy to use, I found myself just taking my wheel off my bike and flinging it in the back of my car and so it's unused! The false cross bar converts a ladies bike so it fits easily on the rack.
