Simplicity 14 Micro sailing Cruiser unfinished boat project Selway Fisher design

Simplicity 14 (Selway Fisher) which is mostly complete. Built for my son who now doesn't want it! Made from high quality marine ply (Robbins Timber) on pine and fastened with stainless steel fixings and epoxy resin/tape. The hull/cabin sole/cockpit sole are finished and the bunks inside are virtually finished (apart from a very small infill pad). Mast step also built. Bunks have been built so they can be removed. Cockpit it framed out and two of the seats made. Just the aft one to go. Selling with the plans/instructions. Trailer pictured is not included, but I can deliver a reasonable distance for cost. Sits on a combination trailer which has done very few miles, trailer tyres and launching trolley kit in good order and no bearing noises,complete with spare wheel and light board. Sails are all good with a spinnaker which is virtually new. It could do with a good clean and the ropes washing to make it look better. Complete boat ready to go. We have owned this boat for 5 years and had great fun in her but failing knees mean that we didn’t use her last year so, regrettably, she has to be sold. Shown in picture ghosting up to the Yacht Club slipway one evening after an enjoyable day. She has been used for family and solo sailing, not raced other than in the occasional fun regatta. She has a nice stable intermediate design: exiting but not too extreme. The PE3 hull construction is durable and needs zero maintenance other washing down after a sail. There are two useful screw-down dry hatches in which you can put your lunch, car keys etc ready for a break. She is in excellent condition with no significant dings or scratches on hull or topsides and comes complete with:- Galvanised road trailer + lighting board with easy piggyback launching trolley. Original RS cover which allows for the boat to be stored mast up or down. Mylar slab reefing, battened Main with roller furling Jib. Sail area 12.2m2 All blocks, sheaves, running and standing rigging in sound condition. It also has a removable outboard bracket – should you feel the need or maybe want to take it up river for some lunchtime refreshment. 4.6m LOA, 1.75m Beam. Suit 1-3 Crew or Family of 4.
