Hi We're a married couple in our late 40s, who have just bought a Pandora 700, we have little to no experiance although he has a RYA Powerboat Level 2 licence & she has a RYA Saling Course Level 2. The boat is moored in Christchurch, UK & we're looking to sail her down to Shoreham, Sussex. How we do this, how long it takes us to do this is the fun part. So we're looking for someone with sailing experience to help us with part or all of this voyage. We'd be prepared to pay or to simply give you a day or twos sailing & food. Foxcub 18 Sailing Boat & Optional Mooring - Newtownards Sailing Club

Foxcub 18 Mk1 for sale The boat is in very good condition and is available to view at Newtownards Sailing Club on land. It comes with a part galvanised trailer and an inflatable punt-boat is also available to buy separately if required. The boat comes with main sail, genoa and storm jib which are all in good condition. The boat also comes with a 4 year old Parsun 4 outboard. The outboard has had very little use and was serviced last August and been been stored in a garage with the engine turned over since the service. I have purchased a NASA Clipper in hull echo sounder and have prepared the boat for this – this is included with the boat. The boat has been anti-fouled and has original GRP coat paint. The boat was taken out of the water from Bangor Marina in October and has since been stored out of the water at Newtownards Sailing Club. Unfortunately I haven’t had the time to sail the boat over the last year. A new mooring was laid in Newtownards Sailing Club in June . Mooring components: train wheel, 6 metres steamer chain, 11 meters galvanised riser chain. Mooring has galvanised shackles and wire locked, mooring strop with marker buoy and lifting buoy made by Down Marine. We have owned this boat for 5 years and had great fun in her but failing knees mean that we didn’t use her last year so, regrettably, she has to be sold. Shown in picture ghosting up to the Yacht Club slipway one evening after an enjoyable day. She has been used for family and solo sailing, not raced other than in the occasional fun regatta. She has a nice stable intermediate design: exiting but not too extreme. The PE3 hull construction is durable and needs zero maintenance other washing down after a sail. There are two useful screw-down dry hatches in which you can put your lunch, car keys etc ready for a break. She is in excellent condition with no significant dings or scratches on hull or topsides and comes complete with:- Galvanised road trailer + lighting board with easy piggyback launching trolley. Original RS cover which allows for the boat to be stored mast up or down. Mylar slab reefing, battened Main with roller furling Jib. Sail area 12.2m2 All blocks, sheaves, running and standing rigging in sound condition. It also has a removable outboard bracket – should you feel the need or maybe want to take it up river for some lunchtime refreshment. 4.6m LOA, 1.75m Beam. Suit 1-3 Crew or Family of 4. Volunteers sought for animal care

Volunteers sought, for a few hours a week on an ad hoc or regular basis, to work alongside a range of animals from alpaca to zebra and 25 different species in between. Ideal for someone local to Ross on Wye Herefordshire who is seeking a career with animals and needing experience on their cv or someone recently retired and wanting a new outlet or someone who simply loves being surrounded by animals and caring for those who have not had a great start in life. You need to be 21 and over and physically fit. Previous experience with animals is great, but not required, however it is important to be physically fit, have a can-do attitude and ability to remain calm and considered when working beside livestock. Also ideal for a handy man who enjoys mending and repairing and maintaining their enclosures, fencing and helping to enrich their environments. We are located just outside Ross on Wye in Herefordshire in a valley setting. The volunteer will work alongside 150 animals across 27 different species. Great for equine lovers as we have donkeys, mules, horses, miniature horses and zebra, some of which need a lot of attention. We are not a charity but alongside our own farm livestock and pets we have offered homes to animals who were neglected, could no longer be cared for, or RSPCA cases living in conditions inappropriate for their needs. This voluntary work will involve pen clearing, pooh picking, feeding, and help with husbandry, disinfecting enclosures and adding different enrichments. If you seek a range of experiences we will ensure you get engaged with husbandry work including hoove clipping, worming, vaccinating, wound dressing etc. It is tough physical work but in a great setting with great experiences to be had.
