Safe First Horse Wanted - 13hh - 15.3hh in Newton Abbot

Looking for a second horse for my daughter to progress her riding on. She is a fairly nervous rider although competent in walk and trot if she had more confidence. I am looking for a confidence giving horse / pony for her to call her own as my Welshy is too strong for her to learn on. I am looking for either an older horse that has been outgrown and progressed on from, free to a good home or something that is LWVTB at not too much cost although if the right horse is out there price would be negotiable. Type and age is not really important to us this is about finding the right fit for my daughter. She does love her greys / spotted and prefers geldings but again its about finding the right horse for her and any horse coming to us would be loved and have a forever home. Although this is for my daughter the horse would not be moved on after a few months or a year as she is unlikely to grow anymore and I am hoping to find something that once her confidence has grown she could take to some local shows even if it is just in hand showing, again all to build her confidence up. Schooling 3 correct floaty paces with a nice forward action. Nach holds an outline and tracks up correctly even for a less developed jockey. He has a soft snaffle mouth and rides on a loose contact with a gentle leg aid to move up the transitions. A safe steady ride that would suit a variety of riding abilities. Absolutely gorgeous hh skewballed 8 year old gelding. This boy is very easy to do, great to catch, shoe, load etc. Up to date with shoeing, vaccinations and worming. You won't get any safer than this boy out hacking, never strong or silly. Your grandma could ride him down the motorway! He's regularly hacked up and down the very busy A6 and busses, wagons etc do not phase him. Stands at junctions etc. He will go alone or in company. He is only for sale as we got him to event but he doesn't have the jump in him for what we need.
