I have a lovely mare cob called Lily who has been a brilliant family pet for us for the short while we have had her. She is brilliant with young children, and we can do literally anything with her. She is soft as they come and loves being handled and ridden. The sale is a sad one since discovering I am expecting my third child...meaning that I wont be able to ride her anymore or have the time to spend with her that she deserves. Very sad sale of my lovely boy.....Burt

I love this pony to bits but I have made a mistake in buying a youngster. I am an older lady and only interested in hacking out with my friends or on my own. I brought Burt as he is such a loveable dude for a 6 year old. Burt needs someone to ride him out a lot more than I have time for to give him confidence as he is a little nervous of going out. He is fine in company but not so happy to go out on his own purely because of his age. Doesn't do anything nasty just gets a bit worried and spins round. As long as your firm with him with your voice (doesn't like the whip) and just kick him on he will go forward. It's just baby behaviour and am confident with time and patience and more schooling he will be good. He loves a canter and a friend has popped him over a few jumps which he seems to enjoy and is quite a good jumper. 13.3 cob gelding sad sale

Sad sale of a much loved cob. Gladiator is a 7 year old 13.3 gelding. I have owned gladiator for 3 months I bought him for my 4 kids to ride and have fun on but unfortunately he is not suitable. I am a novice so I feel like I can't do him justice and really need something what kids can flap about on. Gladiator is fantastic on the ground and has excellent manners. My kids can lead him about and spend all day brushing and fussing him and he loves it. Gladiator has been driven in previous home and he's been riden walk trot and canter but unforcantly he is abit nervous under saddle and not suitable for kids to ride so I am selling him as a companion/driving pony or a project. He has been hacked out and amazing in traffic. I can just not do this boy justice. He would be a fantastic little in hand cob. He had his teeth done last week. Excellent to clip/bath/trim. Due to personal circumstances im selling my 15hh cob x hackney gelding. Bobby is 9 years old and is ride or drive, a lovely horse. he has been out of work for the past year until just recently when he has been brought back into work and as such is in need of some work and being sold as a project. he is used to heavy traffic, good with farrier and has just been wormed. currently barefoot and just had his feet trimed. This is a very sad sale due to increased work hours so 5 days a week she is on her own from 8-6 and the lady who helps me out with the children after school is afraid of birds. I am selling my horse due to having an operation on my hand and not being able to ride him anymore. He evented over the last two years with a very good, experienced rider at 90 and 100. He was placed on several occasions. He loves being in work and is missing being ridden. Sadly due to my hand he is turned away in a field as I have no-one to ride him now as my friend moved back to Finland. Once in work he is worth much more but I am seeing if there is interest before I send him away to be worked and then sold for more. I am having to sadly advertise my girl for rehomeing she is a lovely girl and is brilliant around kids of all ages she is house trained is good both on and off the lead she likes car rides and will happily chill out in the car she doesn't like cats she is a friendly dog but at the same time is a good guard dog she is only for rehomeing due to the fact that when we walk the other dog she gets separation anxiety and will bark and get worried and because I have young children and a disabled child I struggle to walk them both together all the time and it isn't fair on her so for this reason it would be good if she was an only dog she was in the past attacked by another dog and can be worried about some dogs although she does get on with other dogs on walks and hasn't had an issue bless her just also for this reason she would be better as an only dog this doesn't effect her and she is a good family dog and will be greatly missed by us all but am just trying to do what we feel is best for her so she is happy if u would like to offer her a home pls feel free to call or message anytime Read More
