Handmade in the spiritual heart of New Mexico! "Snake Shaman" This piece was hand-crafted with polymer clay and special hand-blended pigments and was inspired by the beautiful and mysterious man holding a snake shaman pictograph of the Moab culture in modern-day Utah and the four corners region of the American Southwest left behind for us to enjoy. It was discovered at San Rafael Swell, located in central Utah. This site, which contains two small pictograph panels, is located on a yellow Wingate sandstone cliff about 200 feet high. White Pendant Necklace comes with a 27" inch natural waxed black colored cord embellished with handmade brown and black toned clay beads. Size is approx. 1.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall. Handmade in the spiritual heart of New Mexico! ►Healing Hand inspired petroglyph clay pendant. The human hand image is common throughout southwest on canyon walls and near abandoned Native American dwellings as well as throughout North America both in petroglyphs and pictographs. It is thought by tribal elders and scholars to symbolize healing, love, spiritual or significant areas, or a highly spiritual person or shaman. In the case where they contain various spiral designs on the palm, migration or transition is thought to be the most plausible meaning. We may never know. This is part of the mystery and wonderment that makes these ancient works of art and forms of communication so fascinating! ►This piece was hand-crafted with Navajo White polymer clay and special hand-blended pigments fired into the clay--not painted on. It is embellished with richly colored handmade earth tone Navajo white, Earth Brown, and Sandstone beads. ►Pendant Necklace is strung on a 27" natural waxed black colored cord that may be cut to your specifications. ►Size is approx. 1.5" wide by 2" tall and.25" thick. ►Each piece is individually made and no two are ever exactly the same.
