's Knutsen Rondo Chairs Norwegian Vintage Scandinavian

I have had these four chairs for around 15 years. They are 'Rhondo' Chairs by Jan Lunde Knutsen - for Karl Sørlie & Sønner Sarpsborg of Norway. They are in finished in black vinyl and chromed steel. Good vintage condition - a provocative seating design in a semicircular formation with vertical chromed tubes composing a highly detailed and innovative frame finished with a c-shaped backrest, Scandinavian Modern influenced by the Bauhaus. The only similar examples I can find online, are selling in America for nearly £950 each. The only obvious signs of age I should mentions are - on one of the chairs, where there is more wear to the seat area than the others, with the vinyl displaying uneven tone and surface condition. There are a few nicks and areas of wear showing on the vinyl of the four pieces, as you'd expect. There is a more significant area of wear on the right hand arm of one chair, where the vinyl has spilt and you can see the foam beneath - about 25mm x 20mm. The chrome is tarnished in certain areas across the four chairs too. None of this spoils the unique style and overall great vintage condition of the chairs - I only mention it to be honest and to avoid any time wasting. Read More

Hammell Rondo Scandinavian Beech Dining Room Table + 6 Chairs + Matching Sideboard

Scandinavian built polished Beech Furniture - 13 years old - originally built to order by Hammell Mobelfabrik in Sweden. Table has curved sides and is 56" long x 35"wide x 29"high - two extension leaves allow extensions to 73.5" or 91" - can seat up to 10 people (see photos). Very good condition - minor nicks on table top commensurate with 13 years family use but nothing obvious or unsightly. Only issue is slight wood split at top of one leg (see photo) - doesn't affect integrity of table and only became apparent on advertising - have been advised it can be easily repaired. Six high backed and very comfortable chairs have fixed soft-seat bases. Sideboard has double curve frontage design and is in very good condition and features two wide central drawers with dark felt bases, large side cupboards and central double-door cupboard with adjustable shelving. Can hold whole dinner service, cutlery, place-mats etc, and still with room left over. 60's modern vintage chairs, scandinavian design

Retro vintage 60’s modern Scandinavian, (Danish) design, ladies dining chair set 2 of 4. Have been used but these last few years kept out of the way in storage for parties. Relatively good condition for age, one chair has a small and repairable crack between connection seat and back leg, still solid enough for every day use. Les and less around. Interested? Set of four stylish vintage 70's Scandinavian leatherette dining chairs

A set of four vintage and stylish dining chairs. The hardwood has been treated with Danish oil and the button-back leatherette treated with Lord Sheraton's leather balsam. The four are in good general condition with only one back of chair missing two buttons which could be relatively easily replaced and the odd wee mark here and there.
