14ft Glastron Speedboat - Project

Welcome to the sale of my 14ft Glastron Speedboat type 318i Red Spirit. As you can see from the pictures she is in need of refurbishment. The plywood floor needs replacing for starters. See picture. However the hull and deck are in good undamaged condition. If I had the time I would refit this boat myself. Sadly I don't. The style of this boat is the same as the speedboats used in the chase sequence of the James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" although I wouldn't recommend using the boat the way they did in the movie. Broom speed boat for sale (s from what we could find out), be bought this as a project as most the hard work had been done, however due to illness I begrudgingly now have to sell it as I am unable to complete, from what we were told it just need fitting out with the engine and tech side of things. Windscreen (cracked at one side when he was fitting it) and fitments all done by previous owner. From what we know hull is sound and paint work will come back with a polish. Buyer will need there own trailer and possibly a friend with them on pick up so don't have to struggle loading it as this is a heavy boat. Sorry don't know much else about it. ***update on advert*** turns out the prop shaft has been bent slightly and will need straightened or replaced, engine is fine otherwise. And gearbox also fine. Owner of the yard where're it is stored(Balloch) has said a local engineer charges £80 to straighten, or an easier method also suggested by owner of boat yard is to replace gearbox completely with a second hand one that should be available for under 200 and far less work than taking out prop shaft to straighten.
