I have an Ercol oval drop leaf dining table which I am informed is beech. It is a dark blonde colour on the top (which I am sure would sand back if you desired) and has lighter legs as you can see from the picture. It has some marks on top commensurate with its age. It measures 112cm x 125cm on top and is 70cm high. It is an absolute beauty at a good price (I have three Ercol tables so need to move them on - if you are interested in two or three you'd be very welcome to check them out). Original Ercol Grand Windsor Extending Plank Dining Table Designed and made in England by Luciano Ercolani (Ercol) this table seats up to 10 when extended and 6 when not. The table top is elm with rounded corners and the tapered legs are beech. The base is two interlocking frames that slide apart to reveal the extending double leaf which slots into the extended table with dowels (these are all original and intact). The Ercol bolts (original and intact) then lock the extended table in place underneath. It’s fifth leg sits centrally and helps support the table when extended. The table top was re-polished in and is in excellent condition as a table top protector has always been used. The table legs have some scuff marks consistent with age and usage. Height of Table: 71cm Width of Table: 91cm Length of Table: Un-extended 153cm and Extended 225cm Ercol Goldsmith Chairs A set of 4 standard dining chairs and 2 carver dining chairs. 60S 70S ORIGINAL MID CENTURY RETRO MCINTOSH TEAK EXTENDING LARGE T3 DINING TABLE This is a fantastic original 60s early 70s large extendable dining table that can sit easily 6 to 10 people. It’s made of teak and it has a lovely honey colour. The main table consists of two oblong sections with slightly shaped and rounded corners. The extension leaves are underneath the table top which pulls apart to allow two extensions to be inserted. Leaves can be used separately or together allowing three different lengths. The extension leaves fold in half and slide under the table when not required. The table sits on sturdy slightly downward tapered square section legs with round edges. There is a patent no. plaque and a sticker for “Furniture by Mcintosh” on the extension leaves. This fabulous large teak dining table is in very good solid condition and extremely heavy. Overall it is in good, clean condition with some sign of wear as to be expected. Structurally there is no major damage but the extenting mechanism is a little stiff. Cosmetically there is good finish in general to the chairs with only minor marks here and there. The table does have wear to the surface of the wood however it has been recently oiled overall.
