Ryeland/Shetland Mule ewe hoggs

These mules have been bred with a registered pedigree Ryeland tup and are out of registered pedigree Shetland or Hebridean mums. I have bred this cross for 3 years now, to produce a mule that is hardy, easy lambing but will produce meaty lambs. The fleeces are of great quality and are suitable for hand spinners. They are also less likely to have feet problems as they don't have hairy legs that can attract the mud. I have sold the mules the two previous years to smallholders who have been very happy with them. The sheep will be very hardy as they have spent their first winter here in the Lake District.
