This Samovar stands 13" tall x 11" across at the widest point. It is not sold as an appliance as it does not have a Portable Appliance Test (PAT) but it does work! The original Russian 2 pin plug is included with it but it now has a standard UK 3 pin plug attached. I am not sure of the age: it was given to me by a Russian lady some 30 years ago. It is in good condition and all parts intact but it could be polished up more, if preferred. However, it is an attractive, decorative item, especially for a kitchen or dining area. Antique Postage Stamp machine surround in solid Brass. Rare decorative item for philatelists.

This is the solid brass surround from an old postage stamp machine. Unfortunately the photo makes it look like a letterbox but you have to visualize it in the upright position which is how it would have been fitted. It is beautifully cast in solid brass with the word "Postage" at the top and "Stamps" at the bottom. If any of you are old enough to remember, the stamp machine itself would have taken up the centre of the space and be mounted vertically, usually in a wall or similar.
